This April sees a tightening of regulation for all GP and Dental Practices to complete registration with the Care Quality Commission – and in order to register you have to satisfy the CQC that you meet their standards, for premises, this includes the cleaning arrangements. The CQC has the power to stop healthcare providers operating if registration is not achieved.
The recognised standard for cleaning in GP and
Dental Practices has recently been revised by the
National Patient Safety Agency and we can provide
you with a FREE COPY. Essentially you are
required to devise a bespoke cleaning plan based
around the guidance. Fresh As A Daisy can work

putting the plan into place to help meet with your
obligations.
Some practices may already be complying, but for many, getting on top of the CQC requirements can be a problem, particularly when you've got a busy practice to run.
